Grand Theft Auto VI is one of the most anticipated video games ever made. The game will launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox. However, millions of PC gamers have been left wondering when they can play. A new report now suggests the wait may be shorter than expected.

According to a report from GamesBeat, Rockstar Games is targeting early 2027 for PC. The report is based on information from four unnamed industry sources. This means PC players could wait just two to four months after consoles. By comparison, GTA 5 took about 19 months to reach PC after its console launch.

Rockstar has not officially confirmed a PC version of GTA 6 yet. The company has been deliberately quiet about its plans for the platform. Take-Two's CEO has said that all games eventually come to all platforms. Still, no specific date has been announced for PC players.

The game is set in Vice City, a fictional version of Miami, Florida. Players will follow two main characters named Jason and Lucia. If the report proves accurate, it would represent a major shift for Rockstar. Previously, the studio made PC gamers wait over a year for its biggest titles.
