There is a very special whale! It lives in the Pacific Ocean. It sings a song every year. But its voice sounds different from other whales. People call it the loneliest whale!

Most whales sing in deep, low sounds. This whale sings much higher than others. Other whales do not answer its call. Scientists first heard it in the 1980s. They used special tools under the water.

Nobody has ever seen this whale. But scientists can hear it every year. Some people think it might be a mix. Maybe it has a blue whale parent. Scientists hope to find it one day!
