Imagine finding a 1,000-year-old building! Ten students from a school in Scotland did just that. They went on a special trip to a tiny island. The island is called Swona. Only wild cows live there!

The students worked with real scientists. They dug into the ground together. They found old stone walls under the ground. The walls looked like a Viking church! Vikings built it about 1,000 years ago.

The trip was six days long. The students had no electricity on the island. They got water from an old well. One student said the discovery was incredible. What an exciting adventure for these young explorers!
