Brett Goldstein, the beloved star of Ted Lasso, recently shared something deeply personal. In an interview with Men's Health UK, he revealed he was depressed. This was before the hit show changed his life and career. His honest words have started an important conversation about mental health.

Goldstein explained that his therapist gave him a simple but powerful task. She asked him to write ten things he was grateful for every day. At first, he struggled because he could not think of anything positive. He said he would start with something as small as the sun being up.

However, after about thirty days, something remarkable happened inside his mind. He said his brain had been trained to look for positive things. Eventually, he could easily list a hundred things he appreciated. He reported that the practice had truly changed him and built new ways of thinking.

Goldstein also reflected on how society expects men to hide their emotions. He admitted he grew up believing men were not supposed to be vulnerable. If more people talked openly about their mental health, the stigma would decrease. His story reminds us that small daily habits can lead to significant change.
