Millions of gamers around the world are eagerly waiting for GTA 6. The highly anticipated game is currently set to launch on November 19, 2026. However, a former developer at Rockstar Games has raised fresh concerns. He said he would not be shocked if the game is delayed again.

Mike York, a former senior animator at Rockstar, shared his thoughts recently. He worked on both GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 during his time there. York explained that Rockstar has always prioritized quality over meeting deadlines. He believes the studio would postpone the release if any part felt unfinished.

GTA 6 has already been delayed twice since it was first announced. It was originally expected in 2025, then moved to May 2026. Later, it was pushed back again to November 2026. Despite these setbacks, Take-Two has reaffirmed the current release date several times.

York stressed that he no longer works at Rockstar and has no inside knowledge. His comments were based purely on his previous experience at the company. Still, his words have sparked widespread speculation among fans online. Whether or not another delay happens, the anticipation for GTA 6 remains enormous.
